Treetop renovation for young technophiles.

New to Washington, DC, this couple had minimal renovation experience before purchasing a 1970's tear down with Pacific Northwest appeal.  Atop a steep cup-de-sac, site logistics required meticulous project management.  Without adding square footage, we increased usable space through modern minimalism and a consistent coplanar theme.  Sharp, smooth, and recessed features eliminated trim around doors and light fixtures with flush base, glass railings, and oversized pivot door at front entry.  Matte woods veneered cabinetry and flooring with unexpected polished chrome accents from Italy and custom matte black adornments from New Zealand.  Outfitted for a Tesla driver, with a cutting-edge theater and Apple-based Savant home control system, this project has brains and beauty!
